Recommended ski cleaning procedure from fluorine
- Thoroughly brush the ski base.
- Apply a generous layer of Fluor cleaner to the surface and sides of the base with a brush or cloth and let it sit for at least 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, gently brush the base surface back and forth with a fine steel or brass brush.
- Wipe the base and sides with paper.
Repeat steps 1-4 two to three times for the best results.
Recommended brush cleaning procedure from fluorine
Nylon and horsehair brushes are almost impossible to clean sufficiently from fluorine. You have a better chance with metal brushes.
- Blow out wax residues and dust from the brush with compressed air.
- Soak the brush in a small bath with Fluor cleaner for 5 minutes.
- Wipe the brush (from the center to the edge).
