The SWIX T0019S-XC steel brush is the perfect tool for thorough base cleaning before waxing and as a second step in waxing after using the T0016M brush. This brush is used first after hot waxing and scraping, before using the horsehair brush. It is also excellent for deep cleaning the base after cleaning the glide zone. For soft waxes, we recommend first using a horsehair brush, then the steel brush, and finally finishing with a horsehair or nylon brush.
For best results, we recommend using a drill with a minimum speed of 1800 RPM. Move the brush with overlapping strokes from the tip to the tail of the ski. Before first use, we recommend lightly dulling the new steel brush with sandpaper no. 100. The steel brush should always be used in the same direction of rotation.
