SWIX DHPB Marathon Powder, Black, 40g
Black marathon powder wax without fluor.
A hard and extra durable glide wax with black additive for distance races. This wax was specially developed for distance races on wet and dirty snow. The additive reduces friction caused by impurities in the snow. It works best in warmer conditions around 0°C and above, but also performs well in sub-zero temperatures. The ironing speed should be approximately 8 to 10 seconds per skate ski.
For better results, the wax can be re-ironed after cooling to room temperature (approximately 10 minutes). Subsequently, scrape off the wax while still warm (about 1 minute after ironing).
Marathon can be used on its own as a race wax or as a base under powders and accelerators.
