The 5 series is a brand new addition to the Cera Nova X wax range, filling the gap between the 4 and 6 series. Developed based on the demands of alpine skiers, it has successfully passed the last two World Cup seasons. Cross-country skiing is also increasingly discovering the performance of HF05X, with more and more servicemen preferring this wax for cold conditions. A lower melting point compared to the 4 series makes application easier without compromising quality glide in cold conditions.
HF05X can be used on its own as a racing wax or as a base under Cera F powder wax, e.g., FC05X.
Recommended ironing temperature: 150°C. Ironing speed should be between 8-10 seconds for cross-country and alpine skis. For greater durability, the wax can be reheated after it has cooled to room temperature (10 minutes). Scrape about one minute after. A quality iron is essential for proper wax application.

HF stands for High Fluorocarbon, high fluorocarbon content. In this category, there are 5 waxes that are a blend of hydrocarbons with fluorine content, and they contain a high percentage of low melting point fluorocarbon additives – provided by CERA F technology. These waxes are unique in that they provide rapid acceleration, can be used in a wide temperature range, and resist dirt. HFX waxes are excellent as standalone or in combination with CERA F as a top layer. HFX waxes are ideal for wet conditions.
