REX 424 Glider Green Wax, -8...-20°C

Product detailed description

REX 424 Glider Green, -8…-20°C

REX 424 Glider Green is a glide wax designed for a temperature range of -8 to -20°C. The green version is intended for cold and freezing winter conditions, where low temperatures produce harder and often more abrasive snow. It is suitable for regular cross-country ski preparation for training, performance skiing and ski service use.

The wax is suitable for both skate and classic cross-country skis. On skate skis it is applied to the entire base, while on classic skis it is used on the glide zones outside the kick zone or skin insert. The -8…-20°C range covers typical cold winter days and more severe freezing conditions.

REX 424 Glider Green is harder than glide waxes designed for warmer conditions. When correctly applied, it prepares the base for efficient glide on cold snow. After ironing, it is important to remove excess wax thoroughly and brush the ski base carefully so that the structure remains clean and open.

Regular waxing helps maintain the ski base in good condition and keeps it ready for the next training session or day on snow. REX 424 Glider Green is a practical choice for individual skiers, racers, ski clubs and professional workshops requiring a glide wax for the colder part of the winter season.

How to use

Clean and brush the ski base thoroughly before waxing. Apply and iron the wax according to the manufacturer's recommended procedure. Once cooled, remove excess wax with a plastic scraper and thoroughly brush the base until the structure is clean and open. With harder cold-temperature waxes, pay particular attention to thorough scraping and brushing.
