REX 120 Blue Special, -1°C to -4°C, 45g
Another legendary wax from REX. The Blue Special grip wax is designed for temperatures from -1°C to -4°C. Slightly softer than the Blue (115), providing better kick in milder frosts.
Offers good adhesion in both firm and broken tracks.
Instructions for Applying Rex Hard Grip Waxes
Preparing the ski base, applying the base wax, and applying the grip wax for specific snow and temperature conditions
- Apply masking tape to both ends of the ski's kick zone
- Roughen the base in the kick zone with sandpaper (grit 100)
- Wipe off excess dirt and dust with paper
- Apply an even layer of base wax, heat it with a heat gun or iron, and smooth it with synthetic cork
- Apply a thin, even layer of wax for the specific temperature and snow conditions, and smooth it with synthetic cork
- Repeat the previous step 2-4 times depending on the hardness and height of the ski's kick chamber
- Remove the masking tapes

Dobrý vosk pro sníh i tešně pod nulou, při vlhčích podmínkách v tomto rozmezí skluznější než modrý extra. Nutný podkladní vosk, při překrytí možno použít i jako závodní variantu. Pozor na vrstvení, má tendenci se strhávat, je třeba každou vrstvu řádně upravit.
