STAR MAP BLACK – GRAPHITE BASE is a graphite base glide wax designed for ski preparation in temperatures from -5 to -20°C. It is primarily used as a quality base layer for ski base saturation and preparation before applying additional glide waxes.
The graphite content helps reduce static electricity between the ski base and snow, which is particularly relevant in cold and dry winter conditions. The graphite base also prepares the ski base for subsequent wax layers and is a useful part of a systematic service procedure for performance and racing skis.
The -5 to -20°C temperature range covers cold to strongly freezing winter conditions. STAR MAP BLACK – GRAPHITE BASE can be used on cross-country and alpine skis.
