REX 425 Glider Purple is a glide wax designed for a temperature range of +2 to -4°C. The purple version covers typical winter conditions around the freezing point, when temperature and snow characteristics can change quickly during the day. It is suitable for regular cross-country ski preparation for training, performance skiing and everyday ski service.

The wax is suitable for both skate and classic cross-country skis. On skate skis it is applied to the entire base, while on classic skis it is used on the glide zones outside the kick zone or skin insert. The +2…-4°C temperature range makes it a practical choice for mild winter weather, temperatures around freezing and changing conditions between warmer and colder snow.

When correctly applied, scraped and thoroughly brushed, the wax helps provide a smooth and clean ski base with a well-exposed structure. Regular waxing also helps maintain the ski base in good condition and keeps it ready for the next training session or day on snow.

How to use

Clean and brush the ski base thoroughly before waxing. Apply the wax and process it according to the recommended procedure for glide waxes.
