What tips do I need for my poles?

In the range of tips for roller ski poles, you'll usually find a note indicating that the tips are designed for poles with a specific diameter, e.g., 10 mm. This refers to the inner diameter of the tip hole, which is to be slid onto the end of the ski pole tube.

We recommend measuring this diameter on the pole tube approximately 3 cm from the end of the pole or where the existing basket ends.

How to replace the tips

To replace the tips, you will need:

• a source of dry heat - ideally a hot air gun, hairdryer, or similar
• thermoplastic glue - special glue designed for attaching handles, baskets, and tips or a glue stick (used in a glue gun)

Replacement procedure

1. gently heat the original tip or winter basket until the glue loosens
2. carefully remove the basket (be careful not to burn yourself)
3. heat the glue and apply it to the end of the pole tube (if there is enough glue on the pole, additional application is not necessary)
4. heat the end of the tube with the glue and slide on the tip. Simultaneously adjust the direction of the tip
5. allow the glue to cool
