LILLSPORT Celsius Race Mitt is a racing and training cross-country ski mitten designed for performance-oriented skiers looking for a combination of warmth, wind protection and good pole contact. It features a narrower fit, making it particularly suitable for women and men with slim hands.

The mitten construction provides greater thermal comfort than a traditional five-finger glove because the fingers share the same compartment. Celsius Race Mitt is therefore well suited to training and racing in colder conditions where keeping the hands warm without sacrificing a secure grip on the poles is important.

Wind-resistant and breathable backhand

The backhand is made from a 3-layer wind-resistant stretch fabric. It provides good thermal insulation while allowing moisture generated during intensive exercise to escape. This helps protect the hands from wind chill while maintaining a comfortable microclimate during cross-country skiing.

The inside features a polyester lining for additional warmth while helping to keep the hands dry.

Durable Clarino® synthetic leather palm

The palm and finger areas use Clarino® synthetic leather. This strong yet breathable material consists of 60% polyamide and 40% polyurethane and provides excellent moisture-management properties.

High-wear areas are additionally reinforced, particularly between the thumb and index finger and across the palm. This improves durability in the areas exposed to repeated contact with the cross-country ski pole grip and strap.

Clarino® is washable and retains its characteristic properties after washing. Its combination of durability, breathability and good pole feel makes it particularly suitable for the palm and reinforcement areas of performance gloves.

Practical details for cross-country skiing

The upper side of the thumb features a terry fabric wiping surface. A flexible knitted cuff comfortably surrounds the wrist, helping keep the mitten securely in place and reducing the entry of cold air.

The mittens are machine washable. Slow, gentle drying without exposure to high temperatures is recommended.
