SWIX DH7 World Cup Glider, 180g, -2/-8°C, Glide Wax

SWIX DH7 World Cup Glider is a top-level racing glide wax developed for alpine skiing in the -2 to -8°C temperature range. It is particularly suited to cold and humid conditions, providing stable glide, low friction and high durability under demanding race loads.

These SWIX World Cup racing gliders are particularly developed and thoroughly tested for the accelerations, high speeds, immense forces and long gliding stretches of the alpine speed disciplines, Super-G and Downhill. DH7 is therefore designed for race preparation where speed, consistent glide and wax-layer durability under high loads are critical.

The hydrophobic black wax blend with a silicone additive promotes water evacuation from the ski base and helps reduce friction in more humid snow conditions. A polyethylene hardener increases the durability of the wax layer and supports effective wax absorption into the base. The wax also helps protect the ski base under high loads and aggressive turns.

SWIX DH7 can be used as a high-performance racing glider or as a reliable base layer for further stages of race preparation. The recommended waxing iron temperature is 140°C. After cooling, scrape off excess wax thoroughly and brush the base to achieve the required race finish.
