SWIX DH7 Black World Cup Glider, 180g, -2/-8°C, Glide Wax

SWIX DH7 Black World Cup Glider is a racing glide wax for alpine skiing in the -2 to -8°C temperature range. It is particularly suited to wet, dirty and abrasive snow, where consistent glide, wax-layer durability and ski-base protection are important at high speeds.

These SWIX World Cup racing gliders are particularly developed and thoroughly tested for the accelerations, high speeds, immense forces, and long gliding stretches of the alpine speed disciplines, Super-G and Downhill. DH7 Black is therefore designed for demanding race preparation where the wax layer is exposed to high pressure and prolonged loads.

The black additive improves wax-layer durability and helps reduce friction on coarse, abrasive or contaminated snow. A silicone hydrophobic additive helps reduce the effect of water between the ski base and snow, while the PE hardener increases the mechanical durability of the wax layer. This supports consistent performance and ski-base protection through aggressive turns and at very high speeds.

SWIX DH7 Black can be used for demanding alpine race preparation and as a durable base layer for further stages of race waxing. The recommended waxing iron temperature is 140°C. After cooling, scrape off the excess wax thoroughly and brush the ski base to achieve the required race finish.
