SWIX DH6 World Cup Glider, 180g, -5/-12°C, Glide Wax
SWIX DH6 World Cup Glider is a racing glide wax developed for alpine skiing in cold conditions from -5 to -12°C. It is designed for high speed, stable glide and demanding race ski preparation.
These SWIX World Cup racing gliders are particularly developed and thoroughly tested for the accelerations, high speeds, immense forces and long gliding stretches of the alpine speed disciplines, Super-G and Downhill. DH6 is therefore designed for conditions where speed, consistent glide and durability of the wax layer are especially important.
The paraffin and synthetic wax blend provides stable glide across different snow types and creates a durable layer that helps protect the ski base against burning under high pressure and load. DH6 can be used as a stand-alone racing glide wax or as a solid base layer for further stages of race preparation.
A waxing iron temperature of at least 145°C is recommended. After the wax has cooled, scrape off the excess thoroughly and brush the ski base to achieve the required race finish.
