How to Replace Baskets / Tips on Ski Poles
Prepare the following for replacement:
- glue for handles and baskets
- heat gun or hairdryer, or another source of dry heat
Work procedure
- Carefully heat the tip/basket on the pole, then remove it from the pole tube
- Carefully apply glue to the end of the pole tube and heat the end of the pole until the glue is liquid
- Attach the basket or tip. Don't forget to adjust the direction by turning
- Let the pole cool down
