Technologies Used

ARAMID

Aramid is among the significant synthetic fibers. It is used in aerospace and military applications due to its incredible properties. The aramid-honeycomb core represents the best strength-to-weight ratio available on the market today. SKI TRAB has chosen the best material for long-term high stability, performance, and durability of skis.

SCARABEO

The ski profile highlights two "side small legs" that reinforce and create a more durable ski edge and make the ski more resistant to torsion. This is also very useful because it allows for quality resurfacing of the ski base.

RACING FLEX

Each ski is measured and checked using a digital ski stiffness measuring device. Based on this measurement, each ski receives its "identification card". Skating skis have a flexibility labeled HG6 and are very easy to control, stable, and fast in all snow conditions. As for classic skis, SKI TRAB produces a short profile labeled PR4, which performs very well on compact snow, while the PR8 profile is suitable for fresh, wet, or moist snow where more wax is needed.

GLIDE TECH

Easy glide is as important to SKI TRAB as it is to cross-country skiers. A manufacturing process was developed in the Bormio factory, where every detail is finished with this goal in mind. The final assembly phase is carried out at low temperatures to preserve the material properties as much as possible, so the final manufacturing operations perfectly maintain the original quality of the ski base. To meet various needs, two different types of skis are available: Cold and Plus, with profile, sidecut, base, and final surface finish for cold or warmer snow conditions.
