Accelerator, a fluor gel developed by enhancing the original legendary accelerator known as SLC. The gel is suitable for colder conditions when snow transforms from fresh to older snow.
This fluor gel (accelerator) is also popular among downhill skiers and snowboarders.
The main advantage of fluor gels is their easy and quick application (no iron needed). Gels can be used alone or as an additional layer on another fluor product to improve glide. Gels are mainly used in short races such as sprints or in races with freshly fallen snow. Depending on conditions, one layer of applied gel lasts 10-15 km.
