REX 4402 LF Pink, for old snow, 200g
Special glide wax designed for old snow. This pink paraffin has a similar composition to the legendary "RCF Pink", but additionally, proven raw materials from the HF wax range are used in the formula. The wax is intended for a wide temperature range because, in this case, the type of snow is more important than the temperature.
The new range of low-fluor glide waxes is based on the latest innovative research introduced by Rex in the high-fluor glide waxes HF range from the 2016/17 season.
Instructions - Application of Glide Waxes
- melt the wax
- apply an even layer of wax on the ski base (in the glide section)
- keep the iron moving while ironing the wax to avoid damaging the base with excessive heat
- scrape off excess wax with an acrylic scraper
- brush the base with a horsehair brush (opening the base structure is easier if the wax is still warm - this is especially true for harder waxes like Blue and Green)
- let the skis cool down
- brush with a nylon brush
