REX 115 Blue, -2°C to -8°C, 45g

A top-tier grip wax. A classic with a formula unchanged for decades. In Finland, this blue Rex is legendary, as any Finnish skier will confirm! It is used as a universal grip wax for low temperatures. Its grip and glide properties can be adjusted by the thickness of the layer applied to the ski base.

The colder the weather, the thinner the layer.

Instructions for Applying Rex Hard Grip Waxes

Preparation of the ski base, application of base wax, and application of grip wax for specific snow and temperature conditions

• apply masking tape to both ends of the ski's grip zone
• roughen the ski base in the grip zone with sandpaper (grit 100)
• wipe off excess dirt and dust with paper
• apply an even layer of base wax, heat it with a heat gun or iron, and smooth it with synthetic cork
• apply a thin, even layer of wax for the specific temperature and snow conditions and smooth it with synthetic cork
• repeat the previous step 2-4 times depending on the hardness and height of the ski's grip chamber
• remove the masking tapes
