REX 105 BASIC Light Green, -8°C to -15°C, 45g

A highly popular climbing wax for cold conditions. It performs well on new snow at temperatures around -6°C.

Used in races as a cover layer for softer waxes.

Instructions for Applying Rex Hard Climbing Waxes

Preparation of the ski base, application of base wax, and application of climbing wax for specific snow and temperature conditions

• Apply masking tape to both ends of the ski's kick zone
• Roughen the base in the kick zone area with sandpaper (grit 100)
• Wipe off excess dirt and dust with paper
• Apply an even layer of base wax, heat it with a heat gun or iron, and cork/smooth this layer with synthetic cork
• Apply a thin, even layer of wax for the specific temperature and snow conditions and cork this layer with synthetic cork
• Repeat the previous step 2-4 times depending on the hardness and height of the ski's climbing chamber
• Remove the masking tapes
