How to Choose the Right Size for Cross-Country Gloves?

To determine the necessary size for cross-country gloves, first measure the circumference of your hand over the slightly arched knuckles with a tailor's tape measure. Measure the dominant hand - so if you are right-handed, measure the right hand; if you are left-handed, measure the left hand.

The measured circumference in centimeters determines the glove size, see the table. 

The EU glove size is given in old German inches. One German inch = 2.7cm. Thus, size 9 corresponds to a palm circumference of 24.3cm.

For children's glove sizes, the ratio between palm size and finger length is different than for adults. For this reason, the conversion between the German inch and palm circumference in cm, i.e., / 2.7cm, does not apply as it does for adult glove sizes.
