Fischer Speedmax racing skis - the choice of Olympic winners and world champions. These skis feature a lightweight AIR CORE HM CARBON core designed for COLD BASE BONDING technology. The core is made of high-tech materials, including a basic two-way structure and additional carbon (Fischer Carbon Fibre) and composite layers.
The CLASSIC 9Q2/902 construction type is perfect for compact to soft snow conditions and klister use, thanks to the lightweight tips and tails. The model features a WC PLUS base with a DTG World Cup Plus/Coarse finish, with deeper and coarser micro grooves, ideal for temperatures around 0°C and above.
The skis come with an integrated IFP plate for easy binding installation without drilling - compatible with Turnamic bindings (Fischer, Rossignol). Not compatible with NNN NIS (Rottefella) and SNS (Salomon) bindings.
Recommended binding: Worldcup Classic IFP.
GLIDING SIDEWALL: a new feature / waxable sidewalls made from the same material as the base, minimizing friction.
Cold Base Bonding: The molecular structure of the base is usually affected by high temperature and pressure during production, causing some deformation. FISCHER developed a new process called COLD BASE BONDING, which involves cold bonding of the base. This prevents material deformation and fully utilizes its advantages. SPEEDMAX skis have unmatched glide and speed, excellent wax absorption, and the base is easier to grind. Additionally, thanks to a new layer between the base and core that absorbs thermal differences, SPEEDMAX skis exhibit consistent performance in all temperature conditions.
