How to Replace Baskets / Tips on Cross-Country Ski Poles
Prepare the following for replacement:
- glue for handles and baskets
- hot air gun or hairdryer or another source of dry heat
Work procedure:
- Carefully heat the tip/basket on the pole, then remove it from the tube
- Carefully apply glue to the end of the tube and heat the end of the pole so that the glue becomes liquid
- Attach the basket or tip. Don't forget to adjust the correct direction by turning
- Let the pole cool down
