ARC XC Combi 1 - Horsehair / Nylon, Roto Brush, 140 mm is a combination rotary brush designed for efficient cross-country ski base preparation. It combines horsehair and nylon in a single brush, allowing two consecutive glide wax brushing stages to be completed without changing brushes.

The horsehair section is designed for thorough brushing of glide wax after excess wax has been removed with a scraper. The horsehair works within the ski base structure and helps remove remaining wax so that the structure is properly exposed and ready for final finishing.

The nylon section is designed for subsequent finer cleaning and polishing of the ski base. It helps remove fine wax residues and dust from the structure and provides an even final surface. Combining both materials allows the technician to move directly from primary wax brushing to the final finishing stage.

How to use

Mount the brush on a suitable rotary shaft and drill. After scraping off excess glide wax, first use the horsehair section to thoroughly brush wax from the base structure. Then use the nylon section for finer cleaning and final polishing. Move the brush smoothly from tip to tail, use moderate pressure and keep the brush moving continuously.
