Product detailed description
SWIX VP65 Red-Black 45 g, 0°C to +2°C
Race climbing wax without fluorine.
The red-black grip wax SWIX VP65 offers exceptional performance in unpredictable snow conditions around the freezing point. It is designed for temperatures below freezing and on older transformed snow with high humidity. The black additive ensures versatility and prevents icing. VP65 works best as a final layer over harder base waxes or covered with klisters.
Temperature range:
Fresh and freshly fallen fine-grained snow: 0°C to 2°C
Old/partially transformed snow: 0°C to -4°C
VP waxes do not contain fluorine and were developed for top athletes. Their excellent properties make them very suitable for recreational and sports skiing. The wax contains a new additive that acts as a lubricant. It enhances grip and glide, providing an even better skiing experience.
Each of the solid waxes in the VP series has two specific temperature ranges. One range is suitable for falling and freshly fallen snow characterized by sharp crystals with relatively high penetration ability, and the other for older snow where the snow crystals are rounded and their penetration ability is lower.
The VP grip waxes are specially developed for conditions at temperatures from -10°C to +3°C.

SWIX is a renowned Norwegian brand that has led the world of ski and snowboard waxes, service tools, poles, gloves, and apparel for cross-country and alpine skiing since 1946.
The story of Swix dates back to 1943, when Martin Matsbo collaborated with AB Astra chemists on innovative wax development. By 1946, Swix launched its first color-coded grip waxes and klisters, and at the 1948 Winter Olympics, all ski gold medalists used Swix waxes.
Since 1986, Swix has been based in Lillehammer, a city famous from the 1994 Winter Olympics. Today, Swix is the largest producer of wax and ski maintenance gear for both elite and recreational skiers. The range includes ski brushes, scrapers, irons, waxing tables and profiles, and spare parts for poles.
Swix continues to innovate and adapt to modern demands. In compliance with FIS regulations, it offers top-quality fluoro-free PS (Performance Speed), HS (High Speed) and TS (Top Speed) waxes, as well as fluoro-free racing powders for maximum glide and minimal environmental impact.
