SWIX V45 Purple Special, 0°C to -3°C, 45g, grip / kick wax
The SWIX V45 Purple Special grip wax is a frequently used ski wax for both racing and touring. If the blue grip wax Swix V40 Extra starts to slip, it's time to apply a thin layer of the Swix V45 Purple Special grip wax.
Freshly fallen snow 0°C to -3°C. Transformed fine-grained snow -2°C to -6°C.
The solid Swix V series grip waxes are traditional kick zone waxes designed for both competitive and recreational athletes. Although these grip waxes do not contain fluor, they are of high quality due to fully refined petroleum wax, synthetic rubber, and pharmaceutical-grade oils. Swix V series waxes are used in top-level races under certain snow conditions, either alone or in combination with Swix VR grip waxes.
