Product detailed description

Paraffin, Glide Wax SWIX HF10X, 180g, 0°C to +10°C

Temperature range from -4°C to +4°C

A continuation of the classic HF8 wax, which is legendary among racing waxes. Over the past decade, this wax has contributed to numerous victories at the Olympic Games and World Cups across skiing disciplines. Its softness and high fluorine content provide high performance around the freezing point.

HF08X can be used alone as a racing wax or as a base under Cera F powder wax, such as FC08X.

Recommended ironing temperature: 130°C. Ironing speed should be between 8-10 seconds for cross-country and downhill skis. For greater durability, the wax can be reheated after it has cooled to room temperature (10 minutes). Scrape off about one minute later. A quality iron is essential for proper wax application.

SWIX HFX waxes with high fluorocarbon content. CERA NOVA RACING category 3.

HF stands for High Fluorocarbon, high fluorocarbon content. In this category, there are 5 waxes that are blends of hydrocarbons with fluorine content and contain a high percentage of low melting point fluorocarbon additives – which is provided by CERA F technology. These waxes are unique in their way, as they provide rapid acceleration, can be used in a wide temperature range, and resist dirt. HFX waxes are excellent both alone and in combination with CERA F as a top layer. HFX waxes are ideal for wet conditions.

SWIX – Norwegian legend in wax, tools and Nordic ski gear

SWIX is a renowned Norwegian brand that has led the world of ski and snowboard waxes, service tools, poles, gloves, and apparel for cross-country and alpine skiing since 1946.

The story of Swix dates back to 1943, when Martin Matsbo collaborated with AB Astra chemists on innovative wax development. By 1946, Swix launched its first color-coded grip waxes and klisters, and at the 1948 Winter Olympics, all ski gold medalists used Swix waxes.

Since 1986, Swix has been based in Lillehammer, a city famous from the 1994 Winter Olympics. Today, Swix is the largest producer of wax and ski maintenance gear for both elite and recreational skiers. The range includes ski brushes, scrapers, irons, waxing tables and profiles, and spare parts for poles.

Swix continues to innovate and adapt to modern demands. In compliance with FIS regulations, it offers top-quality fluoro-free PS (Performance Speed), HS (High Speed) and TS (Top Speed) waxes, as well as fluoro-free racing powders for maximum glide and minimal environmental impact.

Swix stands for tradition, innovation and performance. Trusted by world champions and everyday skiers alike – for those who want the best from their skis.
