Product detailed description

Paraffin, glide wax SWIX HF07X, 40g, -2°C to -8°C

Temperature range from -2°C to -8°C

A new wax with an improved formula that demonstrably guarantees higher performance than the older HF7. A universal wax suitable for common winter conditions below freezing. Its hardness makes it easy to work with and achieve quality results.

HF07X can be used on its own as a racing wax or as a base for Cera F powder wax, such as FC07X.

Recommended ironing temperature: 140°C. The ironing speed should be between 8-10 seconds for cross-country and downhill skis. For greater durability, the wax can be reheated after it has cooled to room temperature (10 minutes). Scrape approximately one minute after cooling. A quality iron is essential for proper wax application.

SWIX HFX waxes with high fluorocarbon content. CERA NOVA RACING category 3.

HF stands for High Fluorocarbon, high fluorocarbon content. In this category, there are 5 waxes that are a blend of hydrocarbons with fluorine content and contain a high percentage of low-melting-point fluorocarbon additives – which provides the CERA F technology. These waxes are unique in their ability to provide rapid acceleration, can be used in a wide temperature range, and resist dirt. HFX waxes are excellent on their own or combined with CERA F as a top layer. HFX waxes are ideal for wet conditions.

SWIX – Norwegian legend in wax, tools and Nordic ski gear

SWIX is a renowned Norwegian brand that has led the world of ski and snowboard waxes, service tools, poles, gloves, and apparel for cross-country and alpine skiing since 1946.

The story of Swix dates back to 1943, when Martin Matsbo collaborated with AB Astra chemists on innovative wax development. By 1946, Swix launched its first color-coded grip waxes and klisters, and at the 1948 Winter Olympics, all ski gold medalists used Swix waxes.

Since 1986, Swix has been based in Lillehammer, a city famous from the 1994 Winter Olympics. Today, Swix is the largest producer of wax and ski maintenance gear for both elite and recreational skiers. The range includes ski brushes, scrapers, irons, waxing tables and profiles, and spare parts for poles.

Swix continues to innovate and adapt to modern demands. In compliance with FIS regulations, it offers top-quality fluoro-free PS (Performance Speed), HS (High Speed) and TS (Top Speed) waxes, as well as fluoro-free racing powders for maximum glide and minimal environmental impact.

Swix stands for tradition, innovation and performance. Trusted by world champions and everyday skiers alike – for those who want the best from their skis.
