Temperature range from -8°C to -14°C
The 5 series is a brand new addition to the Cera Nova X wax line, filling the gap between the 4 and 6 series. Developed based on the demands of alpine skiers and has successfully passed the last two World Cup seasons. Cross-country skiing is also discovering the performance of HF05X with great interest. A lower melting point compared to the 4 series makes application easier without compromising quality glide in cold conditions.
HF05BWX can be used on its own as a racing wax or as a base for Cera F powder wax, such as FC05X.
Recommended ironing temperature: 150°C. Ironing speed should be between 8-10 seconds for cross-country and alpine skis. For increased durability, the wax can be reheated after it has cooled to room temperature (10 minutes). Scrape approximately one minute later. A quality iron is essential for proper waxing.
SWIX HFBWX waxes with high fluorocarbon content with BW additive. CERA NOVA RACING category 2.
Swix HFBWX (Black Wolf) waxes contain solid lubricants as an additive, which are particularly beneficial on coarse-grained snow, dirty snow, artificial snow, and in dry friction (very low temperatures). The new additive has a significantly lower coefficient of friction compared to previous additives. These waxes have been tested in World Cup alpine and cross-country skiing with outstanding results.
