Temperature range from -12°C to -32°C
This special synthetic hydrocarbon powder is added to other waxes to increase their durability and protect the base from scratches. For particularly abrasive snow, such as freshly made artificial snow, any wax can be used and then ironed in. While the wax is still liquid or at least warm, sprinkle CH3 on it. Even a thicker layer will not limit glide. Then iron the CH3 powder into the wax layer. Let it cool, scrape, and brush.

CHX stands for hydrocarbon. This category of waxes does not contain fluorocarbon. These are 100% high-performance paraffin waxes. Although they can be considered a cheaper group of racing waxes, waxes for colder conditions are of very high quality on their own, and waxes for warmer conditions can be used as a base layer for Cera F. Colors and temperature ranges match the HFX and LFX wax series. However, CHX waxes can be distinguished from the LFX series by a darker shade of colors.
