SWIX CH05X Glide Wax, 60g, -8°C to -14°C
Temperature range from -8°C to -14°C
The Series 5 is a brand new addition to the Cera Nova X wax range, filling the gap between Series 4 and 6. Compared to Series 4, it is easier to apply, offers exceptional glide properties within its temperature range, and is highly durable.
CH05X can be used on its own as a racing wax, but it is often used as a base wax for Cera F powder, such as FC05X.
Recommended ironing temperature: 150°C.
SWIX CHX waxes with hydrocarbon content. CERA NOVA RACING category 5.
CHX stands for hydrocarbon. This category of waxes does not contain fluorocarbon. They are 100% high-performance paraffin waxes. Although they can be considered a more affordable group of racing waxes, the waxes for colder conditions are very high quality on their own, while those for warmer conditions can be used as a base layer for Cera F. The colors and temperature ranges match the HFX and LFX wax series. However, CHX waxes can be distinguished from the LFX series by a darker shade of colors.
