Our standard CH6 was one of the biggest successes of the original Cera Nova wax system, and through thorough testing, we have not found a better alternative.
This wax is an affordable alternative for both training and racing or for preparing and waxing "cold" skis. CH06X is highly durable and performs well in most snow conditions, including artificial and glacier snow.
Recommended ironing temperature: 145°C.
SWIX CHX waxes with hydrocarbon content. CERA NOVA RACING category 5.
CHX means hydrocarbon. This category of waxes does not contain fluorocarbon. They are 100% high-performance paraffinated waxes. Although they can be considered a cheaper group of racing waxes, the waxes for colder conditions are of very high quality themselves, and the waxes for warmer conditions can be used as a base layer for Cera F. The colors and temperature ranges match the HFX and LFX wax series. However, CHX waxes can be distinguished from the LFX series by a darker shade of colors.
