SKIVO Universal Paraffin 400g, Ski Wax

The SKIVO universal paraffin wax - 400g ensures excellent glide for cross-country and downhill skis or snowboards on all types of snow at various temperatures. It serves as a base wax for basic maintenance and preservation of the ski base.

Instructions for Use

• For ensuring good durability of waxing, we recommend ironing paraffin waxes into the ski base.
• Apply the wax on a clean ski base, free from wax residues and dirt.
• Heat the iron to a temperature of 120 - 140°C. Place the wax against the iron and let it heat up.
• Then quickly apply the softened wax to the ski base and spread it.
• Repeat the process along the entire length of the ski base to create a sufficiently thick layer of wax (this prevents direct contact of the iron with the ski base).
• Now iron the wax into the ski base, always following the direction from tip to tail. The wax should only melt, and one pass should take about 20 seconds.
• Let the skis cool to room temperature. During this time, the ski base will absorb the necessary wax into its pores.
• Remove excess wax using the Skivo plexi scraper. Finally, brush the ski base with a soft polishing brush and polish with a cloth.
