SKIVO Universal Paraffin 40g - Ski Wax

Ensures good glide for cross-country and downhill skis or snowboards on all types of snow at various temperatures. Serves as a base wax for basic maintenance and preservation of the base.

Suitable for all temperatures

To ensure good durability of the waxing, we recommend ironing paraffin waxes into the base. Apply the wax to a cleaned base, free of wax residues and dirt. Heat the iron to a temperature of 120 - 140°C. Place the wax against the iron and let it heat up. Then quickly apply the softened wax to the base and spread it. Repeat the process along the entire length of the base to create a sufficiently thick layer of wax (this prevents direct contact of the iron with the base). Now iron the wax into the base, always following the direction from tip to tail. The wax should only melt, and one pass should take about 20 seconds. Allow the skis to cool to room temperature. During this time, the base will "absorb" the necessary wax into the pores. Remove excess wax using a Skivo plexi scraper. Finally, brush the base with a soft polishing brush and polish with a cloth.
