SKI SKETT Speed Reducer for Roller Skis

Speed reducers for roller skis allow you to descend steeper hills more safely. With a pair of speed reducers, you can reduce the speed of roller skis by up to 30-40% with a simple turn of a knob/screw. The reducer does not increase wheel wear. The speed reducer is suitable for all models and wheel diameters.

The package contains 2 speed reducers.

Speed reducers are used for planned speed reduction of roller skis, especially when you want to descend a steep hill at a reasonable and safe speed. Before the planned descent, tighten the screw on the reducer to slow down the skis, and after descending the hill, loosen the screw to restore the original speed. Speed reducers can also be used to make training more challenging (increase wheel resistance).

The reducers are mounted on both roller skis.

Braking principle: Using a screw, pressure is applied to the front wheel through a lever mechanism. The pressure creates friction between the ski wheel and the metal roller, reducing speed.
