The Silva Trail Runner Free H received the prestigious ISPO AWARD 2020 for technological innovation. Its compact, seamless design without unnecessary cables, with energy running inside the elastic headband, is the unique Silva Free technology. The power source is located at the back of the elastic headband or can be placed in a backpack, waist bag, or running vest using an extension cable, which is appreciated during longer activities, as the headband with the reflector weighing only 55g will not restrict you.

In sub-zero temperatures, extend battery life by placing it under your jacket using the cable. The Trail Runner Free H headlamp offers a light output of 400 lumens, and the battery box, which includes a red safety light/blinker, uses 3xAAA cells or a rechargeable Hybrid battery 4.6Wh - 38007 as a power source. The most powerful rechargeable battery with a capacity of 14.8Wh - 38008 is supplied in a neoprene pouch with a Velcro strap, which can be attached to the back of the headband or placed in a backpack using an extension cable. This battery has 4 LEDs indicating the charge status and can be purchased separately.

The Intelligent Light technology combines a wide beam with long reach to evenly illuminate the space ahead of you.

The comfortable elastic headband with a silicone center holds perfectly on the head. For basic battery status information without removing the headlamp, simply turn it off for a moment, and a green LED will light up for about 5 seconds = battery in good condition, or a red LED = battery nearing depletion.

Trail Runner Free H, including accessories, is splash-proof from all angles - water resistance IPX5.

* Technical parameters of Silva headlamps are measured according to the ANSI FL1 standard. The battery life is given as the time until the light output drops to 10% of the initial value measured 30 seconds after switching on, not the time of complete discharge, after which the headlamp switches to reserve mode. Battery life is affected by ambient temperature and type of activity, e.g., during running or cycling, the reflector is better cooled, while sub-zero temperatures reduce battery capacity. Beam distance is given as the distance at which the light intensity drops to a value of 0.25 lux. This is approximately the light intensity created by the full moon on a clear night.
