SILVA Free 2000 M, 2000lm, Headlamp

The modular Silva Free lighting system allows for flexible component combinations. Free features a cable-free design with energy conducted inside the headband, LED reflectors with outputs of 1200, 2000, and 3000 lumens, and 4 variants of rechargeable batteries: 14.4Wh XS, 24.1Wh S, 36Wh M, and 72Wh L.

The Silva Intelligent Light technology ensures even light distribution both in distance and width.

The more powerful 2000 and 3000 lumen reflectors, thanks to Silva Flow Light technology, allow you to adjust the shape of the light beam by tilting the reflector. It is activated by a short press of the button when turning on and can be deactivated by a longer press of about 2 seconds, again when turning on the headlamp.

An integrated safety red light/blinker is located at the back of the headband.

The separately available Free Helmet Mount 38230 set allows for helmet attachment, the Free GoPro Mount 38290 set lets you attach the reflector to GoPro camera mounts, and the Free Bar Mount 38229 set allows you to attach the reflector with the battery to a bicycle.

Free headlamps are designed for various activities, allowing you to choose the reflector's output and battery capacity. With a 130cm long extension cable, more powerful batteries with higher weight can be placed outside the headband, for example, in a backpack, running vest, or waist pack. In winter, protect the battery from freezing by placing it under clothing using the cable, thus extending its life. The 130cm long extension cable is included with Free 1200M, 2000M, 2000L, 3000M, 3000L headlamps and can also be purchased separately under the code 38317.

The light output is regulated by a built-in temperature sensor according to the reflector's surface temperature. If cooling is insufficient, e.g., during static activities, indoors, or in high temperatures, the light output will be automatically reduced until an acceptable surface temperature is reached on the reflector's body. When the battery capacity drops to 10% of the initial value, the reflector will blink during lighting and switch to reserve mode, which has an output of 80lm and provides approximately 1 hour of operation.

Free 1200, 2000, and 3000 headlamps, including accessories, withstand splashing water from all angles - IPX5 water resistance.

* Technical parameters of Silva headlamps are measured according to the ANSI FL1 standard. The battery life is given as the time until the light output drops to 10% of the initial value measured 30 seconds after turning on, not the time of complete discharge, after which the headlamp switches to reserve mode. Battery life is affected by ambient temperature and type of activity, e.g., during running or cycling, the reflector is better cooled, while minus temperatures reduce battery capacity. Beam distance is given as the distance at which the illumination intensity drops to 0.25 lux. This is approximately the illumination intensity created by the full moon on a clear night.
