REX TK-2251 Klister, +10 to 0°C

A new product and replacement for the popular Rex OV brown klister. REX TK-2251 is a special klister for wet and coarse snow. It is used as the final layer to ensure reliable grip. Compared to the brown wax, this klister has improved glide properties and repels dirt even better.

Instructions - Applying klisters on skis

Klisters are grip waxes specifically designed for wet and icy conditions.

• Apply masking tape at the beginning and end of the grip zone.
• Roughen the base in the grip zone with sandpaper (grit 80-120).
• Wipe off excess dirt.
• For greater resistance to wear, use a base klister Base #290 (or blue klister #200).
• Squeeze strips of klister onto the ski base.
• Heat the klister with a heat gun.
• Spread the klister on the base using synthetic cork.
• Squeeze strips of another klister (specific for the snow conditions) onto the base.
• Heat the klister with a heat gun.
• Spread/smooth the klister with your thumb.
• Remove the masking tapes.
• Spread the klister at the ends of the grip zone (edges formed after removing the tape) with your thumb.
