REX 444 LF Black, +2°C to -12°C, new snow, 86g
Graphite paraffin designed for new snow. Like LF Pink, LF Black is specifically designed for snow type rather than temperature. The wax hardness is between LF Blue and LF Yellow, requiring slightly softer wax for the best glide on new snow. This LF Black is a new black/graphite paraffin!
The new range of low-fluor glide waxes is based on the latest innovative research presented by Rex in the high-fluor glide waxes HF series from the 2016/17 season.
Instructions - Application of Glide Waxes
- heat the wax
- apply an even layer of wax to the ski base (in the glide zone)
- keep the iron moving while ironing the wax to avoid damaging the base with excessive heat
- scrape off excess wax with an acrylic scraper
- brush the base with a horsehair brush (opening the base structure is easier if the wax is still warm - this is especially true for harder waxes Blue and Green)
- let the skis cool down
- brush with a nylon brush
