REX 4702 Hydrex2 Gel, +10°C to -20°C, 40g
Rex Hydrex2 is a fluorinated gel primarily used as a final layer on klisters and hard grip waxes, in cases where snow sticks to the wax or the skis "drag" during skiing. Hydrex can also be used as a preventive measure against snow icing. Hydrex enhances the glide properties of grip waxes, reduces icing, and repels dirt.
Hydrex is also used during micro-contact application. At temperatures from +3°C to -5°C, Hydrex can be used as an accelerator - spray Hydrex on the glide part of the ski base.
Application of Hydrex:
Apply Hydrex as the last layer on grip wax or klister, or on a sanded base (micro-contact). Perform the application in a cold outdoor environment on a cold ski base to prevent the evaporation of fluorine from the gel.
