REX 25 ProGrip Purple Fluor Wax, -1°C to -3°C, 45g

Reliable fluor wax for cross-country skis with fresh snow conditions just below 0°C. This wax is also excellent as a top/cover layer on purple klister when the snow is coarse-grained.

The REX PRO GRIP series is a set of four fluorinated waxes designed for better/smoother glide.

THESE WAXES ARE NOW REPLACED BY THE "REX N11, N21, N21G, AND N31" SERIES OF GRIP WAXES.

Application of Grip Waxes

Prepare the base with a base wax and finally apply the wax for the specific snow conditions and temperature.
 

• Apply masking tape to both ends of the grip zone.
• Roughen the ski base in the grip zone with sandpaper grit 120.
• Wipe off excess dirt (dust created after roughening).
• Apply a solid grip base wax Rex Base Wax to the base. (Alternatively, you can use Rex Liquid Base Klister, which is a quicker method.)
• Heat the wax using a hot air gun or wax iron.
• Lightly spread the wax with synthetic cork.
• Apply a thin layer of the chosen Rex wax for the specific snow conditions and temperature.
• Spread the wax with synthetic cork.
• Usually, 2 to 4 layers of wax are applied to the base. The final number of layers, however, varies depending on the stiffness of the ski, the weight of the skier, and personal preferences.
• Use cork after each layer of wax application.
• Remove the masking tapes.
