REX 240 Universal Klister, +10...-30°C
Universal ski klister for all snow conditions from +10°C to -30°C. Despite its name, "universal", it is also widely used as a racing klister.
Instructions - Applying Klister on Skis
Klistres are grip waxes for skis specifically designed for wet and icy conditions.
- Apply masking tape at the start and end of the grip zone.
- Roughen the base in the grip zone with sandpaper (grit 80-120).
- Wipe off excess dirt.
- For better resistance to wear, use a base klister Base #290 (or blue klister #200).
- Apply strips of klister onto the ski base.
- Heat the klister with a heat gun.
- Spread the klister on the base using synthetic cork.
- Apply strips of another klister (klister for specific snow conditions) onto the base.
- Heat the klister with a heat gun.
- Spread/smooth the klister with your thumb.
- Remove the masking tapes.
- Spread the klister at the ends of the grip zone (edges formed after tape removal) with your thumb.
