REX 2162 Gold Klister Molybdenum, +4…-5°C

A new version of molybdenum klister from the Racing Service line based on Rex Gold Klister, which is particularly good on dirty and coarse snow. The klister is slightly softer for better grip during kick-off. On old and coarse snow, the added molybdenum improves its glide properties and reduces dirt adhesion.

Instructions - applying klisters on cross-country skis

Klisters are grip waxes specifically designed for wet and icy conditions.

• apply masking tape at the beginning and end of the grip zone
• roughen the base in the grip zone with sandpaper (grit 80-120)
• wipe off excess dirt
• for greater resistance to wear, use base klister Base #290 (or blue klister #200)
• apply strips of klister on the ski base
• heat the klister with a heat gun
• spread the klister on the base using synthetic cork
• apply strips of another klister (klister for specific snow conditions) on the base
• heat the klister with a heat gun
• spread/smooth the klister with your thumb
• remove the masking tapes
• spread the klister at the ends of the grip zone (edges formed after tape removal) with your thumb
