REX 210 Red Special Klister, +10...0°C

Red klister designed for freshly fallen, wet snow. The klister formula is based on the very successful "Gold" klister. It was developed in collaboration with the Finnish national ski team. Despite its softer consistency, the klister has excellent resistance to slipping.

The best results from this klister can be expected in snow conditions such as wet, freshly fallen snow to slushy snow. If it drags, mix it 1:1 with REX 216 Gold Klister.

Instructions - Applying Klisters on Skis

Klisters are grip waxes specifically designed for wet and icy conditions.

• Apply masking tape at the beginning and end of the grip zone
• Roughen the base in the grip zone with sandpaper (grit 80-120)
• Wipe off any excess dirt
• For greater resistance to slipping, use Base Klister #290 (or Blue Klister #200)
• Extrude strips of klister onto the ski base
• Heat the klister with a heat gun
• Spread the klister on the base using synthetic cork
• Extrude strips of another klister (specific to the snow conditions) onto the base
• Heat the klister with a heat gun
• Spread/smooth the klister with your thumb
• Remove the masking tapes
• Spread the klister at the ends of the grip zone (edges created after tape removal) with your thumb
