REX 200 Blue Klister, -5...-30°C
Ski klister designed for icy and hard tracks. Renowned for its durability. In conditions with aggressive snow, it can be used as a base wax for another klister or hard wax.
Instructions - Applying Klisters on Skis
Klisters are grip waxes specifically designed for wet and icy conditions.
- apply masking tape at the start and end of the grip zone
- roughen the base in the grip zone with sandpaper (grit 80-120)
- wipe off excess dirt
- for better resistance to wear, use Base Klister #290 (or Blue Klister #200)
- apply strips of klister to the ski base
- heat the klister with a hot air gun
- spread the klister on the base using synthetic cork
- apply strips of additional klister (klister for specific snow conditions) to the base
- heat the klister with a hot air gun
- smooth the klister with your thumb
- remove the masking tape
- spread the klister at the ends of the grip zone (edges formed after tape removal) with your thumb
