REX 15 ProGrip Blue Fluor Wax, -2°C to -8°C, 45g

Legendary blue REX grip wax with fluor for skis, suitable for temperatures -2°C to -8°C.

The REX PRO GRIP series is a set of four fluorinated waxes designed for better/smoother glide.

THESE WAXES ARE NOW REPLACED BY THE "REX N11, N21, N21G AND N31" KICK WAX SERIES.

Application of grip/kick waxes

Prepare the base with a base wax and finally apply the wax for the given snow conditions and temperature.
 

• Apply masking tape to both ends of the grip zone.
• Roughen the ski base in the grip zone with 120 grit sandpaper.
• Wipe off excess dirt (dust created from roughening).
• Apply a solid base wax to the base Rex Base Wax. (Alternatively, you can use Rex Liquid Base Klister, which is a faster method.)
• Heat the wax using a heat gun or wax iron.
• Lightly spread the wax with a synthetic cork.
• Apply a thin layer of the chosen Rex wax for the given snow conditions and temperature.
• Spread the wax with a synthetic cork.
• Usually, 2 to 4 layers of wax are applied to the base. The final number of layers, however, varies depending on the ski stiffness, skier's weight, and personal preferences.
• Use cork after each wax layer application.
• Remove masking tapes.
