PELTONEN Nanogrip Zenith NIS, skis, 202cm, 70-90kg
The Peltonen Nanogrip Zenith NIS represents a higher sports range of classic skis with Nanogrip treatment - no waxing needed, yet they don't slip. The application of glide and grip wax is done at the factory during production. An ideal choice for longer trips or sports training on groomed tracks.
- The speed of the ski is reported to be 5 to 10% lower than comparable skis with a smooth base, but the kick is much more effective.
- They work great on almost all types of snow
- The durability of Nanogrip is now tested up to 6000 km
- The ski includes an NIS plate, meaning the NNN binding is mounted by simply snapping it on.
From time to time, the base needs to be cleaned of dirt, for this purpose we strongly recommend using only REX 510 wax remover. When frost forms on the kick zones of the base, use REX Anti Ice
The skis are factory-fitted with an NIS plate.
NANOGRIP TECHNOLOGY
- Nanogrip™ is a synthetic liquid applied to the entire length of the ski base during production
- Nanogrip™ functions as both a glide and grip wax.
- Nanogrip™ is suitable for all recreational skiers. Compared to traditional skis, these have slightly worse glide properties (in glide testing, a 5-10% shorter glide was measured).
- Skis with Nanogrip™ can be used in conditions from +10° to -20°C, Nanogrip™ is truly a universal grip system.
- The manufacturer guarantees that the properties of Nanogrip™ will remain the same for at least 2000 km without needing reapplication.
