PELTONEN Nanogrip Infra X NIS skis are derived from the Peltonen Infra X racing series, which uses a lightweight Nomex honeycomb core. The Nano High Speed base is treated with Nanogrip - no waxing needed, yet they don't slip. They perform excellently on almost all types of snow. The speed of the skis is reported to be 5 to 10% lower than comparable skis with a smooth base, but the grip is much more effective. An ideal choice for long trips or sports training on groomed tracks.
The Nanogrip technology, which replaces both grip and glide wax, is applied at the Peltonen factory during ski production. It reaches its ideal properties after the first few kilometers, and its durability is now tested up to a distance of 6000 Km.

Occasionally, the base needs to be cleaned of dirt, for this purpose we strongly recommend using only REX 510 wax remover.
As a prevention against snow freezing on the ski base, use REX Anti Ice
The skis are factory-fitted with an NIS plate.
NANOGRIP TECHNOLOGY
- Nanogrip™ is a synthetic liquid applied to the entire length of the ski base during production.
- Nanogrip™ functions as both a glide and grip wax.
- Nanogrip™ is suitable for all recreational skiers. Compared to traditional skis, these have slightly worse glide properties (during glide testing, a 5-10% shorter glide was measured).
- Skis with Nanogrip™ can be used in conditions from +10° to -20°C, Nanogrip™ is a truly universal grip system.
- The manufacturer guarantees that the properties of Nanogrip™ will remain the same for at least 2000 km, without needing to reapply the product.
