How to Choose the Right Size for Cross-Country Ski Gloves?

To determine the necessary size of cross-country ski gloves, first measure the circumference of your hand over the slightly arched knuckles using a tailor's tape measure. Measure the dominant hand - so if you're right-handed, measure your right hand; if you're left-handed, measure your left hand.

The glove size is derived from the measured circumference in centimeters, see the table below.

EU glove sizes are given in old German inches. One German inch = 2.7 cm. Thus, size 9 corresponds to a palm circumference of 24.3 cm.

For children's glove sizes, the ratio between palm size and finger length is different than for adults. Therefore, the conversion between German inches and palm circumference in cm, i.e., / 2.7 cm, does not apply as it does for adult glove sizes.
