How to Choose the Right Size for Cross-Country Gloves?

To determine the right size for cross-country gloves, first measure the circumference of your hand over slightly bent knuckles using a tailor's tape measure. Measure the dominant hand - so if you're right-handed, measure the right hand; if you're left-handed, measure the left hand.

The measured circumference in centimeters corresponds to the glove size, see the table below.

The EU glove size is given in old German inches. One German inch = 2.7 cm. Thus, size 9 corresponds to a palm circumference of 24.3 cm.

For children's glove sizes, the ratio between palm size and finger length is different than for adults. Therefore, the conversion between German inches and palm circumference in cm, i.e., / 2.7 cm, does not apply as it does for adult glove sizes.
