The compact rechargeable headlamp Fenix HL18R-T offers a light output of up to 500 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of up to 82 meters. It is powered by a replaceable lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 1300 mAh, which charges via a micro-USB connector directly in the headlamp. The battery can be removed and replaced with three standard AAA batteries in emergencies (they cannot be charged in the headlamp). The light source is a modern LED Cree XP-G3 with a neutral light tint, located in the main reflector. Two white LED Everlight 2835 provide additional lighting, creating a wide and very smooth light beam.

There are a total of 5 power modes available, including an SOS flash mode for emergencies. The headlamp is also equipped with an innovative runtime extension function. During prolonged use of individual light modes, the headlamp gradually reduces power in small steps to achieve longer lighting time. The power reduction is not as significant as with the older HL18R headlamps.

The headlamp features a wide strap with a new Sport Fit System with a single rotary wheel for easy strap length adjustment. You can quickly and comfortably tighten the headlamp on your head with one hand. The strap is also perforated and equipped with reflective elements, ensuring good passive visibility when running on the road. Weighing only 91 grams, the Fenix HL18R-T is well-suited as a running headlamp as well as for camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

All headlamp parameters (light output, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
